We had our Embryo Transfer this morning. The embryologist brought us back to go over our embryos. We had two 8 cell Grade 2 embryos and one 10 cell embryo with some fragmentation. Those are the three we decided to transfer. The embryologist and the RE both recommended the three instead of two to increase our chances of it being successful. Our risk of multiples goes up (for triplets it's up to 5%), but it seems worth it to ensure a hopefully positive experience.
Our other embryos weren't looking too hot. One 5 cell that was a Grade 2-3 and very fragmented, and the other six had multinucleation. I am still trying to find information on this, but the embryologist said they usually don't see that many. I'm not sure what that means for us, if it is egg quality or more sperm issues that would cause that.
I will post pictures as soon as we can figure out how to scan them. Updated: Here they are!
